Hi! This is Sarah Joy speaking and you aren't going to believe how I surprised Mommy today! She sat me in my crib, as she normally does when I am just playing, then she walked out of the room for only about 30 seconds. When she came back, this is what she saw! Yes, I am standing up. I can't see what is going on when she keeps sitting me down in my crib!

I also had my first piece of baby toast stuff. I don't know what it is called, but it sure was yummy. Only thing was, the more I chewed on it, the more slippery it got, and I just couldn't hold on to it! Boy, was I a mess. Mom had to put me right in the tub when I was done! That was fun too, though!
Uh oh! I hear Mom coming! I better get off of here real quick! She doesn't know I can type yet! *wink*

Even a child is known by his doings, whether his work be pure,
and whether it be right.

That's FUNNY! :o)
Yes, we are leaving for furlough in June. Due to the fact that all the missionaries who were in the jungle have not been allowed to renew their Visas to stay in Venezuela,we have decided to relocate to Paraguay. Our Visas expire in a few months.
We also have some legal cases here that seems to be pending whether or not we leave the country. Also, our children our Venezuelan and the new education laws will require them to attend the communist schools here. We do not feel that is what God would have us to do.
Other missionaries here are either married to Venezuelans and have under school aged children or their children are not Venezuelan citizens. Thus they are not effected yet.
We do feel that if there is no change in government, in a mater of time, all US citizens will need to leave.
I just posted a link to an old article that explains it better.
