Silly Sikorski Family

The night before Noah's birthday, I decided to have a fun night of fondue! The kids said "fun-what?" They caught on rather quickly once they saw Mommy dip an apple into yummy melted chocolate! We also had bananas to dip and little bbq weinies to poke and cheese and crackers. I also made a "special" drink - Pumpkin Spice Latta. Don't worry, I used decaf coffee and not much of it. I didn't really care for it. It looked much better in the pictures than it tasted! LOL! I'm sure it was the first of many times the Sikorski's have fondue!

Once our fondue was almost done, the silliness set in. I think it was the chocolate! If you have seen one of the new Dennis the Menace movies you will know the little boy character that has a problem with his eyes. He is so cute, but there is one scene when the bad guy comes to town and walks up behind this little boy and says "What ya eating?" The boy turns around with his eyes all crossed and says "A apple". We find that scene so humorous and it is repeated many times in this house! For no apparent reason, one will just stick his hand out, cross their eyes and say "A apple". My beloved husband has no clue what we are talking about, nor can he appreciate the humor in it as we still haven't shown him that scene. However, I have caught him saying "A apple" just the same! LOL! That is what started the next series of events. We were practicing our little boy impersonation. Some of us were better than others! Some are still learning! ;+)

We are just the Silly Sikorski family!

Proverbs 17:22
A merry heart doeth good like a medicine:
but a broken spirit drieth the bones.

Happy Birthday Sarah Joy!

It's hard to believe it has been 2 whole years since you were brought into this world
It seems as though you have always been my little girl.
Your little curls we thought were red now glisten in the sun
Your dimples with your smile so sweet just make me come undone.
The Lord has blessed us with you my child, no doubt about that one.
You fill our world with lots of "joy" and bunches of great fun.
Psalms 5:11
But let all those that put their trust in thee rejoice:
let them ever shout for joy, because thou defendest them:
let them also that love thy name be joyful in thee.
