Even through all the sickness that has been passed back and forth in our household, we were still able to have a mini-party on New Year's Eve and bring in the New Year together. We had invited a few couples/families over, but for numerous reasons most weren't able to come. Here is Alana waiting for Derrick and Julianna's arrival.....the suspense was just too much for her! :)
Our "new" friends, Derrick and Julianna (who were married on Jared's birth day),
came over with her out-of-town Mom, Belinda,
and brother, Jonathon (sitting by Ski in the picture below). We ate some yummy food including veggie soup, meat, cheese and crackers, bbq weenies, grapes, cookies, chips and punch. We then played the piano, sang songs and played the wii until the new year. We had alot of fun and are very grateful to the Lord for bringing this special couple into our lives. The Lord has His hand on their lives and it is exciting to watch them serve the Lord.
