Trip to North Dakota

Grandma Scheidegger with daughters, Harriet, Punky and Donna.

We had an unexcpected trip to North Dakota on January 25, due to Steve's grandmother passing away. Although it was a sad time, we did enjoy getting to see family again. This was Sarah Joy's first time meeting Grandma and Grandpa Ski along with many aunts, uncles and cousins. We were able to find some cheap airline tickets on lastminute.com, but not cheap enough to take everyone, unfortunately. We are very thankful for church family who steps in to help in time of need. Thank you to the Hemphills and the Wrights!!
Here are some pictures from our trip! Hope you enjoy!

Sarah Joy's first plane ride!
She did great!

Overlooking the big city of Chicago. We had a layover in Chicago on the way there and the way back. It was neat on the way there, but after getting stuck in Chicago for 6 1/2 hours on the way back, we don't really care for it anymore!

Pretty neat, huh?

How excellent are they works, Oh Lord! Aren't those clouds gorgeous? Who would have thought that clouds could be so pretty?

Here is a picture of our neice, Jill, while working at Happy Joe's Pizza. Her neice, Courtney, was having her 2nd birthday party.

Here is Steve's brother, Mike, and sister, Kari with a bunch of the neices and nephews who are all helping celebrate Courtney's birthday!

This is our nephew, Ryan...

John 14:6 "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me."

2 Corinthianss 5:8 "We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord."

Grandpa and Grandma Ski with Steve and Sarah Joy. We are heading to the airport to go back home.

Thank you Grandpa Ski for my hat! We lost mine somewhere and yours came in quite handy to keep me warm!!

Hanging out in the Chicago airport!

Thanks Andrea for the snuggly! It sure came in handy on our trip!
