Rapture: The Rapture is a prophesied event in which living Christians, as well as the bodies of those Christians who have died, are suddenly taken away from the earth to be with Jesus Christ. Everyone else on earth will be left wondering where the raptured people have disappeared to. This will take place when Jesus descends from heaven accompanied by the spirits of the aforementioned deceased.
When will this take place?
Jesus said in Matthew 24:36
"But of that day and hour knoweth no man,
no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only."

It is going to happen, but only God in Heaven knows when. Christians, we must always be ready. My friend, if you don't know if you are ready for the rapture.....the return of Jesus......I know how you can be ready. Let me tell you my story .

I just stumbled upon your blog. I ask myself this question a lot. Wow...am I ready? Am I more ready than some people? Yes. But am I just flat out ready??? I don't know about you, but compared to a holy and perfect God, I am far from ready. I don't think I do anything (in the spiritual realm) well enough or often enough to find true favor in God's eyes. Not when Christians in other nations are still being persecuted and tortured for their faith while I sit in cushy America having a pathetic complex at the grocery store when I go to hand the cashier a tract...will they laugh? will they get mad? will they think me stupid?? (The worst reaction I have ever had when handing out a tract was to be spit on) While the people in India are having their throats slits...no...I don't think I am...at least not ready enough...
You may think I am looking at this wrong, but I think I am keeping reality in perspective...And it doesn't take my joy away. It pushes me to try all the more to please my Father. But to be honest, in my current situation, I don't know if I will ever be considered a prime example of a child of God. You know, that depends on who you ask. Just like compared to a murderer, the world says I am good, but I always have to remind myself to compare myself to the right person...
I'll be quiet now... :)
